Philipp Schuster joins as Group Director, Business Development, Aircraft Management & Charter
Philipp Schuster adds further depth to the Group’s Aircraft Management and Charter business unit, as MD, Graham Williamson, targets growth in the UK, Europe and Middle East.
14th April 2025 – Gama Aviation’s is pleased to announce the addition of Philipp Schuster in the role of Group Director Business Development. Philipp joins Gama Aviation with extensive experience in senior management positions across the aviation industry, including roles as Accountable Manager, Nominated Person for Flight Operations, and Nominated Person for Crew Training. He is a highly skilled operational leader, having served as a rated captain and instructor on the Gulfstream G550, Citation XLS+, and Citation M2. His comprehensive knowledge of both operational and regulatory aspects of aviation will be instrumental in supporting Gama Aviation’s business development strategy.
Philipp Schuster will work alongside Evie Freeman (Group Director of Client Experience) and Andrew Pethen (Head of Client Delivery) to develop the managed fleet under Gama Aviation’s differentiated boutique offer. The offer, using a portfolio of AOC’s including two EASA certificates has been designed to offer aircraft owners flexibility with their operations, backed by a team with significant aircraft type expertise particularly in Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Bombardier and Gulfstream types.
AOCs include Cayman, Bermuda, UK, Austria, Malta, Isle of Man and UAE. It is likely this will be further supplemented with San Marino, as the Group looks to gain further ground in the Middle East, prior to its new Business Aviation facility opening in Sharjah later this year.
Graham Williamson, Managing Director, Aircraft Management & Charter, comments: “We are delighted to have Philipp join us. As an accomplished pilot, he understands the realities of aircraft operations and his experience, including flying to Antarctica, will be immensely beneficial to our growth plans. Such experience powers our boutique offer such that our clients have direct access to deep, real-world expertise on a range of matters from day-to-day operations, aircraft transactions or AOC transfers, whether they are based in the UK, Europe or the Middle East.”
Philipp Schuster, Group Director, Business Development: “I am excited to join Gama Aviation at a critical juncture in the company’s expansion. Gama Aviation is renowned for its global infrastructure, offering a diverse portfolio of aircraft management solutions supported by its AOCs, FBO network, and maintenance facilities in strategic locations. I look forward to working closely with the leadership team to build upon these strengths, drive sustained growth, and provide clients with the highest standards of service. My priority will be to ensure that Gama Aviation continues to meet the evolving demands of the business aviation market, maintaining our commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and regulatory compliance.”
